This Privacy Policy explains how OET Ultimacy ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you use our website and services at www.oetultimacy.com (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Who We Are

OET Ultimacy is an online preparation platform for the Occupational English Test (OET), operated from Egypt by Dr Ahmed Elgendy. For any question or request about your privacy or your data, contact us at support@oetultimacy.com.

2. Information We Collect

Account information. Your email address, used to create and sign in to your account (via a one-time email code, or via Sign in with Google). If you sign in with Google, we also receive your name and profile picture from your Google account.
Study data. Your course progress, practice scores, mock exam results, study plan and its settings (such as your exam date and exam delivery mode), questions and comments you send to your instructor, favourite words, and study streaks.
Content you submit. Exam recall reports, testimonials, and messages you send through our contact channels.
Optional integrations. If you choose to link a Telegram account for study notifications, we store the link between your account and your Telegram chat.
Payment information. We never collect or store card details. When you pay for a membership by card or Apple Pay, your card details are entered only on the secure checkout page of our payment provider, EasyKash, and are never seen by this website. To create that payment we send EasyKash your name, email address and the phone number you enter at checkout, together with the plan and amount. We keep a record of each payment: the plan, the amount, the outcome, and the name, email and phone number given at checkout. Payments can also still be arranged directly with our team through the contact channels listed on the site.
Technical data. Aggregated, privacy-friendly usage analytics (such as page views and device type) collected without cross-site tracking cookies, and standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) kept for security purposes.

3. Google User Data (Sign in with Google)

If you choose to sign in with Google, we request only Google's basic sign-in scopes: your name, email address, and profile picture. We do not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, Contacts, or any other Google service data.

We use this information solely to create your account, sign you in securely, and identify you inside the platform (for example, showing your name on your dashboard).
We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties, except with our hosting and authentication provider as required to operate the login itself.
Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can revoke our access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account permissions page.

4. How We Use Your Information

To provide and personalise the Service, including saving your progress, generating your study plan, and unlocking the content you have access to.
To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
To send you service emails (such as sign-in codes and study reports) and, if you opt in, Telegram study notifications.
To respond to your questions and support requests.
To understand overall usage of the Service through aggregated analytics and improve it.
To protect the Service against fraud and abuse.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

5. Where Your Data Is Stored and How It Is Protected

Your account and study data are stored with secure, professionally managed cloud providers. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to personal data is restricted by per-user security rules so that each student can only access their own records, and administrative access is limited to authorised staff.

6. Services We Share Data With

We share personal data only with the trusted service providers we rely on to operate the platform:

Our cloud hosting, database, and authentication providers.
Our email delivery provider, used to send service and study report emails.
Google, if you choose Sign in with Google.
Telegram, only if you choose to link your Telegram account for notifications.
EasyKash, our payment provider, when you pay for a membership by card or Apple Pay.

These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We may also disclose information if required to do so by law or a valid legal request.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by emailing support@oetultimacy.com from the email address linked to your account. We will delete your personal data within 30 days of a verified request, except for records we are required to keep for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons. Exam recall content published without personally identifying information may remain part of the shared library.

8. Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser storage for essential purposes only: keeping you signed in (authentication tokens) and remembering your preferences and study progress on your device. Our analytics do not use cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not use third-party advertising cookies. Clearing your browser storage will sign you out.

9. Your Rights

Access the personal data we hold about you and request a copy.
Correct inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your data (see section 7).
Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

10. Children

The Service is intended for healthcare professionals and adult exam candidates. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.

11. International Data Transfers

Our service providers host data in secure data centres that may be located outside your country of residence. Where data is transferred internationally, it is protected by the safeguards in our agreements with those providers.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes may also be announced inside the Service.
