Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the OET Ultimacy website and services at www.oetultimacy.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. About the Service

OET Ultimacy is an online preparation platform for the Occupational English Test (OET). It offers courses, practice tools, mock exams, a study planner, exam recalls, and related educational content. OET Ultimacy is a trading name of Ultimacy Courses LLC, a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, United States, and is operated from Egypt by Dr Ahmed Elgendy.

These Terms cover everything we sell: the Ultimacy Premium subscription, our OET preparation courses, and letter corrections and speaking mocks bought on their own. When you enquire about a purchase, the details we send you, what is included, the price, and how long it lasts, carry these Terms or a direct link to them, and they reach you before any payment is made. Proceeding to payment means you accept them in full, whether or not you read them first. Creating an account or signing in also counts as acceptance. If there is anything here you do not accept, raise it with us before you pay rather than afterwards.

These Terms apply to purchases made on or after the date at the top of this page. If you bought before that date, your purchase stays governed by the terms agreed with you at the time.

2. Independent Provider

OET is a trademark of Cambridge Boxhill Language Assessment (CBLA). OET Ultimacy is an independent preparation provider and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by CBLA or the makers of the OET exam.

3. Accounts and Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your country, to create an account.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your sign-in method (email inbox or Google account) secure.
• Accounts are personal. One account per person. An account and the access attached to it cannot be sold, gifted, lent, reassigned, shared or handed to anyone else under any circumstances.
• You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.

4. Definitions

These words carry the same meaning everywhere in these Terms.

• Ultimacy Premium: the paid subscription unlocking the platform’s premium features, sold for a length chosen at checkout: 1, 3 or 6 months, or any length from 1 to 12 months in 15-day steps.
• Special Collection: the Ultimacy Special Collection, a set of exclusive practice exams. It is included with any Course, and may also be bought as a one-time paid add-on to Ultimacy Premium. It is not a subscription.
• Course: any OET preparation course we sell, being the Full Course, the Ultimacy Course, or a Single-Subtest Course.
• Full Course: a course covering all four OET subtests.
• Single-Subtest Course: a course covering one subtest only, being Listening, Reading, Writing or Speaking.
• Course Content: the recorded lectures and PDF materials belonging to a Course.
• Claimable Services: letter corrections and speaking mocks, however you obtained them. How these are refunded is set out in our Refund Policy.
• Standalone Services: letter corrections or speaking mocks bought on their own, without a Course.
• Onboarding Meeting: the personal meeting with Dr Ahmed held before a Course begins, where your level, target score and exam date are agreed.
• Activation: the moment your access begins. For a Course, this is set out in section 7. For Standalone Services, it is the date the entitlement is granted to your account. Every time limit in these Terms is measured from it.
• Exam Date: the OET exam date you have declared to us.
• Transaction Fees: all fees, charges and taxes applied by the payment provider, including VAT. These are charged by the provider, not by OET Ultimacy.

5. Memberships and Payment

• Parts of the Service are free; premium content and courses require a paid purchase.
• Ultimacy Premium is bought on this website and paid through Stripe, our payment provider. Card details are entered on Stripe’s own secure checkout page and are never seen or stored by OET Ultimacy.
• Students in Egypt may instead pay using the local methods shown at checkout, currently InstaPay and Vodafone Cash. These are handled directly by our team and are not processed by Stripe: you send the payment from your own bank or wallet app, and we activate your access once we have confirmed receipt. A payment made this way does not carry the card protections a Stripe payment carries.
• Where a Course is arranged directly with our team rather than bought on the website, the price, the payment method and any instalment schedule are agreed with you in writing before you pay.
• Transaction Fees and any applicable VAT are added by the payment provider and are payable by you on top of the price shown.
• The price, duration, and scope of your purchase are those shown at checkout or agreed with you. Access is activated once payment is confirmed, and card payments are normally activated automatically within seconds.
• Purchases are one-time and for a fixed period. There is no automatic renewal. Nothing is ever charged to your card again unless you choose to buy another period yourself.
• If you renew Ultimacy Premium while a subscription is still running, the new period is added to the time you have left rather than replacing it.
• Your materials unlock in full immediately after payment.
• Refunds, cancellations and your statutory rights are set out in full in our Refund Policy.
• If you ask your bank or card issuer to reverse a payment (a chargeback), your access is suspended and your account is closed straight away, while the case is still open. We do not wait for the outcome. If the case is decided in our favour, your access and your account are restored in full and exactly as they were. Please write to support@oetultimacy.com before you contact your bank: we reply within 24 hours and can almost always put things right faster than a bank can.
• We may change prices at any time. A change only affects future purchases and never a purchase you have already paid for.

6. Premium plans and the Special Collection

Ultimacy Premium is sold for a length you choose at checkout: 1 month, 3 months or 6 months, or any length from 1 to 12 months in 15-day steps. The features included are those described on the Ultimacy Premium page at the time you purchase.

The Special Collection is a set of exclusive practice exams, currently 20 in total: 10 Reading and 10 Listening. It is included at no extra cost for students enrolled on a Course. Anyone else may buy it as a one-time add-on, either by selecting it on the Ultimacy Premium checkout page or by buying it on its own while a subscription is running.

• It is a single payment. The price is shown on the checkout page before you pay. It is not a subscription, it does not renew, and it is never charged to your card again.
• It is added to your account immediately once your payment is confirmed, in the same way as the rest of Ultimacy Premium, and it stays on your account permanently.
• It requires an active Ultimacy Premium subscription in order to be opened. The add-on itself never expires, but the exams inside it can only be opened while a subscription is running. If your subscription ends, the Special Collection closes with it and opens again the moment you renew, with nothing further to pay. This is stated on the checkout page before you pay.
• Buying the add-on on its own does not add any subscription time. It buys the Special Collection and nothing else, and it is only offered to students whose subscription is already active.

7. Courses and the Onboarding Meeting

We sell the Full Course, the Ultimacy Course, and Single-Subtest Courses in Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.

An Onboarding Meeting is included with:

• the Full Course and the Ultimacy Course;
• any purchase covering two or more subtests;
• the Writing course, even when bought on its own.

There is no Onboarding Meeting with the Listening course alone, the Reading course alone, or the Speaking course alone.

When Activation happens. This is the moment every deadline in these Terms is counted from:

• Where an Onboarding Meeting applies, Activation happens at that meeting.
• Where it does not apply, Activation happens on the date access is granted to your account.

Booking notice. Onboarding Meetings and speaking mocks can be booked from the following day onward. Same-day booking is not available.

8. Access Until Success

Your access to Course Content runs until the Exam Date you declared to us, and ends on that date.

Access Until Success. If you have not yet passed, ask us and we extend your access to your next Exam Date. There is no limit on the number of extensions and no fee of any kind. This is our commitment: your Course Content stays with you until you pass.

Request your extension at any time up to 30 days after your access ends. You do not have to wait for your results: you may ask for the extension as soon as you have sat the exam, so you are never locked out while waiting to hear.

We do not normally ask for proof of anything. We reserve the right to ask for confirmation of your exam booking in individual cases.

If you have not declared an Exam Date, your access runs for 3 months from Activation. Once you tell us your date, we extend it on the same terms as above.

What Access Until Success does not cover. It applies to Course Content only. It does not extend your Claimable Services (see section 9) and it does not extend the bundled Ultimacy Premium subscription (see section 10). Those run on their own separate timetables.

If we change or retire a course. If we retire, replace or materially change a Course, you receive the replacement at no extra cost. Where any failure or change on our side leaves you worse off, the responsibility is ours: we will put it right and compensate you for it.

9. Corrections and speaking mocks

Corrections and mocks reach you in one of two ways: included with a Course, or bought on their own as Standalone Services.

Included with a Course. Every Course carrying a Writing or Speaking component gives you the same entitlement, whether bought inside the Full Course or on its own:

• 5 letter corrections with the Writing component;
• 2 speaking mocks with the Speaking component.

The Listening course and the Reading course carry none. Your window to use them, measured from Activation, is 3 months for the Full Course and the Ultimacy Course, and 45 days for every other purchase, including any single subtest and any combination that is not the Full Course. A longer window applies only if we agreed one in writing at purchase, or if we extend it for special circumstances affecting you after OET Ultimacy has accepted your request.

Bought on their own. Letter corrections and speaking mocks may be purchased separately, without a Course. You receive the number you paid for, and your window to use them is 45 days from Activation, unless a longer period was agreed with you in writing at the time of purchase. A Standalone Service is exactly that, and nothing more: it carries no Course Content, no Onboarding Meeting, no Access Until Success, and no bundled Ultimacy Premium subscription.

Unused entitlements expire. Corrections and mocks you have not claimed by the end of your window lapse and do not carry over. See our Refund Policy for what this means once your window has closed.

Turnaround. Letter corrections are returned within 72 working hours of submission.

Booking and rescheduling a speaking mock. Mocks are booked from the following day onward; same-day booking is not available. To reschedule, give us at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancelling with less notice, or not attending, uses up that mock.

They belong to you alone. Corrections and mocks cannot be given, sold, swapped or transferred to another candidate under any circumstances. A letter submitted for correction must be your own work.

10. The bundled Premium subscription

Courses include a complimentary Ultimacy Premium subscription as a bundled gift. Its duration is stated on that Course’s page at the time you purchase.

It is a gift, and it is separate from your Course. Access Until Success does not apply to it. When the bundled period ends, it ends, even though your Course Content access continues. To keep premium features after that, purchase a plan under section 6.

11. Acceptable Use

The Service and its materials are for your personal, non-commercial exam preparation. You agree not to:

• Share, resell, or transfer your account or access to paid content.
• Copy, download, record, screenshot, republish, or otherwise redistribute course materials, mock exams, or other content.
• Scrape the Service, use automated tools to extract content, or attempt to bypass access controls.
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Service.
• Submit unlawful, infringing, or abusive content, or impersonate any person.

Violation of this section may result in suspension or termination of your account, as described in section 19.

12. Intellectual Property and Protection of Our Materials

The Service’s software, design, lectures and original written content are owned by OET Ultimacy. Some practice materials and mock exams are licensed from or derived from third-party sources. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access the content you are entitled to, for your own exam preparation only.

Specifically, and in addition to section 11, you agree not to:

• Use our materials to teach, tutor, coach or prepare any other person, whether paid or unpaid.
• Transcribe or reproduce our materials verbatim in any form. Notes you write in your own words, for your own study, are of course fine.
• Screenshot or screen-record any part of the paid content, whether or not you intend to share it.

Our materials carry identifying marks. Where material is found circulating outside the Service, those marks allow us to trace it back to the account it came from.

13. Respect and Professional Conduct

This is a professional space for healthcare professionals, and everyone in it is entitled to be treated with respect. That obligation runs both ways: our team is held to exactly the same standard in every dealing with you.

The following are not acceptable, in any channel, whether towards our team or towards another student:

• Threats, intimidation or harassment.
• Discrimination on any ground.
• Defamation, or publishing private conversations without consent.
• Abusive, degrading or persistently disruptive behaviour.

How we respond. For lesser conduct you receive one written warning first, so you have the chance to put it right. Immediate termination is reserved for serious conduct. In either case the decision is reviewed personally by Dr Ahmed, on the facts of your case. It is never automatic and never handed to a machine.

14. Your Content

You may submit content to the Service, such as exam recall reports, questions and comments to your instructor, and testimonials. You keep ownership of what you submit, and you grant OET Ultimacy a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and use that content to operate and promote the Service. You confirm that anything you submit does not violate any law or the rights of any third party, and does not include personal data of other people.

15. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates optional third-party services, such as Sign in with Google and Telegram notifications. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for third-party services.

16. Availability and Changes to the Service

We continuously improve the Service and may add, change, or remove features. We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access; maintenance, updates, or events outside our control may cause temporary interruptions.

If an interruption is on our side and it materially affects your access, we will put it right, by extending your access or by another remedy appropriate to what you lost.

17. Educational Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is". It is an educational product: while our materials and methods are designed to maximise your chances, no preparation provider can guarantee a specific OET score or exam outcome, and we do not make any such guarantee.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OET Ultimacy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

19. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may request deletion of your account as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, following section 13 where the breach is one of conduct. We also suspend access and close the account immediately when a payment is reversed through a chargeback, as described in section 5.

What termination means for you. Your access ends, and you must stop using our materials and delete any copies you hold. An account terminated for sharing, piracy or distribution of our materials is not entitled to purchase from us again.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination, such as intellectual property, protection of our materials, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law, survive it.

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, where Ultimacy Courses LLC is registered. Nothing in this clause removes any protection you have under the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and it does not prevent you from bringing a claim in your local courts where the law of your country gives you that right.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date, and your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

A change never worsens a purchase you have already made. Your purchase stays governed by the Terms in force on the day you bought it.
