How the recalls library works

  1. Candidates share their exam — right after test day, candidates fill in the OET exam recall form. Names are always hidden.
  2. Recalls are organised by exam date — the most recent exam date appears at the top, so you can focus on the newest reports and see how the exam is evolving.
  3. Opened recalls are marked automatically — your browser remembers which recalls you have read, so new material added after each exam date is easy to spot.

OET Exam Recalls — FAQ

What are OET exam recalls?
OET exam recalls are reports written by real candidates shortly after their OET exam. Each recall can include the Listening Part A words the candidate remembers, Reading Part A, B and C topics with difficulty ratings, the full Writing case notes with the letter task and letter type, and both Speaking role-play cards with their tasks. All recalls are anonymous — candidate names are never shown.
Are OET recalls real exam questions?
Recalls are candidates' memories of their exam, not official exam papers. They will not give you the exact questions of a future exam, but they are extremely useful for knowing which vocabulary, topics and case types recently appeared, how difficult each part felt, and what to expect on test day.
How are the recalls organised?
Recalls are grouped by OET exam date with the most recent date at the top of the page, and recalls you have already opened are automatically marked as opened in your browser so you can easily spot new ones.
Can I read an OET recall for free?
Yes. One complete sample recall is free to read — no account needed. The full recalls library is included in the Ultimacy Premium subscription together with computer-based mock exams and more than a dozen other study features.
Do recalls show candidate names?
No. Candidate names are never displayed anywhere on the recalls page. Each recall is published anonymously, showing only the exam date, profession and delivery method alongside the exam content.
How often are new OET recalls added?
New recalls are added after every OET test date, as soon as candidates submit them through the OET Ultimacy recall form. The library keeps growing with every exam.
How can I share my own OET exam recall?
After your exam, fill in the recall form at oetultimacy.com/oet-exam-recalling. You can save your progress and finish later, and your name is always hidden — only the exam content you share is published.
