Student messages
Thank-you messages, scores and study tips sent to Dr Ahmed Elgendy after the exam, plus one public Facebook thread.
My result came out: 380 in Listening and 370 in Reading. The website is extremely useful, and I followed your method for Reading Part A, so I was finishing before time.
She failed Listening three times. On the fourth attempt she passed everything, with 390 in Listening, and told Dr Ahmed before she told her own husband.
Third attempt after two failures in 2023. She memorised the recalls from the site, scored 410 in Listening and says the recalls helped a great deal.
Never passed Reading before, then 380 on the first try with the video explanations - and her confidence back with it.
A B in every subtest, and 430 in Listening - a personal best.
"I was at A2 level... and thank God, 390 in writing." A student challenges anyone to match the content, the price or the respect.
'I was practising Speaking on your website - praise God, I got 430. Listening too, and I passed.'
'I got Listening 380 - and before I subscribed, passing was impossible for me. It's a miracle.'
380 in Listening, and the recall words site called magic.
Failed Reading three times, then passed on the fourth attempt: this student names the Reading Part A technique and the listening word lists as what changed the result.
Passed on the first attempt, from an average level: "The recalls were every one of them right, and repeated from the website."
"Dr Ahmed, I passed. Imagine, this was the first time I even knew what OET was. Praise be to God, first attempt."
Reading had failed her three times. She used the Part A method and passed on the fourth attempt.
The recalls got her through after many attempts, listening being the sticking point.
Passed first time, and says the speaking course made it possible.
Someone asks the group for opinions on the course. Two answers: "I took two courses before, they don't compare," and "the cheapest in price and the most useful in content."
I did about six Reading B and C tests from OET Ultimacy and nothing else. Anyone sitting the computer-based test has to do them, they are exactly the same as the exam.
The full version: cheapest in price, most useful in content, replies at any hour, and free material on the website for anyone who cannot pay.
A member of a Facebook OET group: the course keeps developing every week, and the daily plan makes you study. "No other teacher does this."
I passed through subscribing with you on this wonderful platform. Please do not scatter yourselves between sources, stay with this website.
"Let the students judge for themselves: open the website, look at the content, watch his lectures, and then you'll know whether I'm right."
Passed after subscribing only in the final week. Practising the computer-based format on the site is what cut her exam-day nerves.
"I joined more than one course and his is the only one I benefited from... the cheapest in price and the most useful in content."
Three members of a Facebook OET group in one thread: "It isn't a course, it's a complete system for all four sub-tests."
"The recalls were all correct and repeated from the website", and the vocabulary group is what changed her level.
"He improves himself, the website and the services every day. That is what really makes it the cheapest course."
"The exam was exactly identical to the website, in timing, in format, in everything."
I passed too, by God's grace and thanks to the site's listening recalls.
Sat in March, passed, and wrote to say the website was the reason.

"I passed on my first attempt. All thanks to Dr Ahmed for the more than wonderful course, every note he gave was useful." She adds tips on the long passages in Reading Part B and on Writing time management.
"I passed on my first attempt. For Listening, the words repeat, and the OET ULTIMACY channel has literally all of them. You need to follow it daily and listen to the words in a British accent."
"I passed on my first try. I took no courses, just subscribed to your recalls. I recommended the group to several friends and they joined. Only two Listening words were new in my exam."
"I sat the exam on 29 November and passed on my first attempt. Every Listening word was in the channel except one, and even that was derived from another word (bumpy lesion)."
"God give you strength, Doctor. You are a respectable man and you deserve every good. Four attempts, three failed, and the fourth is the one I passed."
"Doctor, I passed Listening because of your recalls. Amazing. This was attempt number six, because of Listening."
"I passed on my first attempt. The recalls helped me, and almost all the words came from them."

Asked which site gives a mock result closest to the real exam, a student answers: Dr Ahmed Elgendy, whose new site simulates the computer-based test.
A student on the recalls site: I go in almost every day and find something new added. There is no competitor to it for recalls anywhere in the world.
After courses with most of the other teachers, a student says the others seem to want to confuse you, while here everything is explained simply.
A renewal, and a picture of how the material actually gets used: listening words on the commute, explanation videos the moment they are home.
I have taken a course with almost everyone. Nobody works this hard. The others wasted my time and a huge amount of effort for nothing.
Just look at how many people have benefited from your course, your lectures and the free website. We genuinely benefited a great deal.

A student who kept confusing hyphenated words while studying says the separate hyphen list in the vocabulary program solved it.
"The lectures are more than excellent, of a quality I have not found anywhere else", with advice to give it three hours a day.
One student advising another to join the course: it organises your day hour by hour and builds up the difficulty gradually.
"Within just days the difference was enormous" - a student credits the OET vocab channel with rebuilding her confidence.
Five students in a row in the group: best OET course, updated every few days, "I wish I had known about it earlier".
To anyone struggling with reading and listening: this place only, nothing else, no matter how badly you are stuck.
Thank you for your efforts, your words helped me. If anyone asked me, I would recommend you a thousand times over.
"The credit goes to you, and to your channel and the website. Without it I wouldn't have known how to practise."
"Your method is wonderful. It is the first time I have felt able to answer Reading Part A and Listening Part A."
Not flattery, she says: nothing beats the site, unlike the first course she paid for and gained nothing from.
Honestly I knew nothing about OET at all. After subscribing, my knowledge grew and my confidence went up.
"I regret hearing about you so late" - a student promises to write about the course the moment they pass.
A student who had already paid for two other courses: nothing beat this one, and no flattery intended.
